Night Game Drives
When the sun dips below the horizon, a different kind of magic awakens. Tarangire is one of the few parks in Tanzania that allows night safaris, offering you a rare chance to see nocturnal creatures in their natural habitat. Venture into the wilderness in an open 4WD vehicle as your guide helps you spot leopards on the hunt, bush babies leaping through trees, and the glimmer of animal eyes in the dark. You’ll also learn about the constellations that light up the African sky and hear the wild symphony of the night. These guided night drives begin around 7 p.m. and last approximately three hours.
